The Department endoresed the Ministry of Finanace OM No 1/1/2008 IC dated 13.11.2009 regarding granting of revised pay structure of Grade pay of Rs 4600 in the pay band PB 2 to posts that existed in the pre revised scale of rs 6500-10,500 as on 1.1.2006 to all concerned vide memo no 4-4/2008- PCC dated 07.12.2009.
In that memo Department has stated that the Provisions of Ministry of finanace OM dated 13.11.2009 may be applied only in cases where pre revised scale of 6500 - 10,500 exixted prior to the recommendations of the 6th CPC.
Demanding higher Pay for IPs is kept in dark. We will write a detailed letter to the Secretary justifiying /urging higher pay scale for IPs which will be published in our website on 21.12.2009.
