                      Sub : Request for constitution of cadre restructuring committee – reg.

A kind reference is invited to our letter of even no dated 28.09.2009 requesting for the constitution of a cadre restructuring committee.

The Income Tax Department and the railway Department has already constituted a cadre restructuring committee

When compared to other Department, the promotional avenue of IPOs cadre is very meager. The 1983 batch of IPOs are still waiting for their PSS Group B post and many of them retired as ASPs.

Hence I request you to kindly constitute a cadre restructuring committee to consider

• Up gradation 245 post of IPs/ASPs to PSS Group B Post

• Upgrade 1060 IPO post to ASP Cadre

• Create new IP/Group B Post for the new Products.
