The neglecting of this cadre is costly was the observation of Justice Ratnavel pandian Chairmen Vth pay Commission. The Department is still neglecting our cadre .It will not hear the genuine demand of the Associations. Due to various policies, our sister Association is not in a passion to chart out any agitational programs.
Knocking the door of the CAT is the only remedy available to our cadre men. I wish to submit a memorandum to the Department in a detailed manner comparing some cadres of our Department and other Departments. Could you give your valuable points/suggestions thro comments?
After submitting the memorandum my next move to file a case in the CAT.
I think perhaps One week complete strike by the IPs and the ASPOS, SPOs,SSPOS willdefinitely solve our Problem

ReplyDeleteMajority among the IP/ASP cadre will 100% agree with your contentions. Supervisor should get more pay than the supervised. I think this is one of the items came for discussion in anomaly committee. As pointed out an ASP is directed to supervise an HSG-I general line official with regard to inspection/visit to that office, taking statements from HSG-I officials etc. Moreover as MACP is implemented PAs having 30 years service will get GP 4600 and we the ASP will feel inferiority complex in inspecting such offices where PA having GP 4600 working. Here towards the departments like postal department only CAT case will work out. So IP has to get GP 4800 and ASP has to get 5400. it is fully justified. So please move ahead with submission of memorandum to DG posts and intimate the result through your blog. We can chalk out remdial measures including filing CAT case if the reply is negative.

ReplyDeleteThe Dept. is not willing to give GP of Rs.4600 to IPOs and Rs.4800 to ASPOs. As of now there is no meaning of asking GP of Rs.4600 and Rs.4800 for IPOs and ASPOs respectively. It will only complicate the issue. For GP of Rs.4600, the case is filed at Ernakulam Bench Tribunal. Seeing the rejoinder, we can say that the case is very much strong and as you can see in the blog www.aipif.blogspot.com , all the points raisded by the Dept. have strongly and effectively countered. I will ask Mr, Permanand, who had filed the case, to provide you the copy of the Rejoinder filed in the case.As ascertained from Permanand, the CAT case is expected to be finalised within one or two months. In the mean time we can put some pressure on the Dept. by showing some protest. After getting the GP of Rs.4600, we can fight for the next.
Sir, As You have expertise in dealing with CAT cases, Your support is required in the present ongoing case. Hope you will respond.

It is correct. We should demand such a pay which is more than our sub-ordinates. But in Dept, I think they will not accept. Because Postal Dept. itself don't know the nature of jobs being entrusted to IP/ASPs.
ReplyDeleteThese days, many Postal Assistants are not willing to come to this cadre, as there is no hike in pay except the hike in responsibilities. A PA working in metro city like Chennai, when comes to this cadre and posted in city other than Chennai, his pay comes down. Is it correct logic ? There should be some extra bonanza when the level of responsibilities increases. So, as one of the friend suggested, we must go on strike for our demands.
We have to organise struggle. We are with you,sir. Strike is the only way befoe us. Dont believe boneless leaders in our sister assosiation. We wish to have an indefinite strike.

Let the first result come out in favour of IPOs GP 4600 and then next case can be filed for higher GPs for IPOs/ASPOs for 48 & 5400.I request you to see the fight between the Railway Station masters & Motormans. When the pay was raised for motorman then stations master who are superviosrs for motoman went on strike and Railway ministry had to surrender berore station masters and their pay was raised.I fully agree with you that Supervisor should get higher pay than the "supervised".But no body in DOP will listen our demand. Only we can wait for the result of the cae filed by Permanand and then you must file a CAT case on the basis of Railways Motorman and Stationmaster and I am confident you will win the case through CAT.

OK it is a belated decision think by u. The department never accept this demand. After giving a memorandum formally , we will approach the CAT and fight for our justice. Best wishes. Don't wait for Ernakulam CAT judgement. It will fail.

Dear Sir, see the "www.onlyparity.blogspot.com" where all decsions on parity are given in favour of persons like IPOs.When expert comittee like pay commissions find parity then who you or me or DG are to deny GP of 4600 to IPOs? Don't be jealous for IPOs GP of 4600.
Follow the principle of "live and let live".
If IPOs will get 4600 GP you will not loss single paisa from your pocket. Is the language is clear to you?

You have strong possibility of person indicated.What can we do for such peoples.If U,me,others IPOs will get 4600 GP then it is doubtfull whether the person indicated will get good sleep.Such persosns think that DOP is their fathers property and DOP should run as per their hims and fancy. Who should get and how much should get is defined by the expert comittee then who are u, me & others to decide or express opinion about 4600 GP for IPOs. IPOs should get 4600 gp IS final and established fact by expert comittee.
We should support Permanand.Permanand is like Bhagat Singh for IPO/ASPO cadre.Those who are opposing the issue of 4600 for IPOs are traitors i.e "GREAT GADDARS" of IPO/ASPO cadre.

ReplyDeleteThis regarding our poor insight the several problems faced by this cadre(IP). There lot of hype??? abt the hike in GP but is there any one to think at the sorry state of touring officers (Sub Dn Head). The VI CPC has recommended an EYEWASH" food bill theory instead of increasing the old rate of DA (it was just doubled by some State govt like TN) Now the lunch at a semi town will costs around Rs.100 and think abt the touring officers(IP/ASP) who is entitled at (old rate) 0.7 DA i.e. Rs.63 pd. Is anybody caring about this? NOOOOOOOO.,, Comrades, we should not toiling around the same one thing of GP for which there are lot of IP/ASPs but for the above cause, is there any one ready to fight????? ( i am ready but i am not a real beneficiary bcos i am not a SDH ) any how I have started the debate.... it's upto u to continue and arrive at a solution.We shoud fight with the department and make them to accept for the self attestation of food bills or hike the old rate of DA. Think abt the lot of problemes in obtaining and producing food bills
