8 %  DA is expected   from 01.01.2010

The All India Consumer Price index for industrial workers is released by the Labour Bureau Government of India on the last working day of the succeeding month. Consumer Price index number for the month of November 2009 released on 31.12.2009 is 168. Based on this index, the DA due upto November 2009 is calculated and given below. The increase is 34.11%. (Present DA rate from 1.7.2009 is 27%).
